Hello Vortex Swimmers!

Welcome to our 2018 Summer Swim Season. We will begin practice tomorrow, Monday June 4. Please bring your swimmer(s) to the Provost Pool at their age appropriate time:

• 8:45 - 9:45: All Swimmers 9 and Older
• 9:30 - 10:30: 7 and 8 Year Old Swimmers
• 9:45 - 10:30: All Swimmers 6 and Under

VWC Swim Committee Members will always be at practice to help with any questions. The coaches will be in charge of the kids at practice, but we ask that parents stay for the duration of practice (with the exception of older swimmers). We are there to coordinate between the parents, the kids and the coaches. A couple of important items:

• REGISTRATION CHECKS -- If you chose to pay by check when you registered, please bring it to practice by the end of the first week.
• BIKES -- Please have your swimmers park their bikes in the bike rack or on the grass. DO NOT park in front of the maintenance shed. Workers cannot access the shed if there are bikes to move.
• TEAM T-SHIRTS and TEAM SWIMSUITS -- Both of these items will be distributed during practice towards the end of this week.
• WEATHER -- We will check weather around 7:00AM each weekday morning. We will only practice if the air temp is going to be at least 65 degrees for most of our practice. If it is too cold, we will run a dry land practice. Please be sure to check your email before sending your swimmers to practice each morning for any cancellations. Only send your swimmers to practice if you are comfortable with the weather conditions.
